Your safety, and that of our staff, visitors, and colleagues is our top priority. To that end, in order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 by minimizing crowds, Wrightwood 659 is temporarily closed.

Like many public institutions, we have been closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reports, as well as following their recommendations and those of the Chicago Department of Public Health. We believe we must prioritize the health and safety of the public and will take all steps in this effort to minimize gatherings and promote social distancing. We will announce our reopening via email and on our website: wrightwood659.org.

Patrons who have purchased tickets to The Allure of Matter or an exhibition tour can expect a full refund, which will be issued automatically. It may take up to five business days for you to see the credit.

While Wrightwood 659 is closed, we will actively seek out ways to share the arts with you online—through email, our website, video, and our social media feeds.
