Ticketing

Individuals

Guests must purchase tickets in advance on our ticketing page. Please plan to arrive at your specified entry time. Tickets are non-transferable and are only valid for the date and time listed on the ticket.  

While we do not offer refunds for unused tickets, they can be exchanged prior to the date and time appearing on the ticket, based on availability. Tickets cannot be exchanged across exhibition seasons. Please contact us at info@wrightwood659.org or 773-437-6601 to exchange.

Groups

Bring your class, community group, or colleagues for a visit to Wrightwood 659. K-12 student groups from Chicago may qualify for special group offers. Contact us at info@wrightwood659.org for more details.

Private Events

At this time, we do not offer our space for private event rentals. 

Getting Here

Driving Directions

Our address is 659 W. Wrightwood Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614. We are located between Clark and Halsted Streets on the south side of Wrightwood Ave.

Parking

We don’t have on-site parking and street parking is limited, so we encourage the use of public transportation. 

If you are driving, there is paid parking available at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago Outpatient Center, located at 2515 N. Clark Street. Wrightwood 659 is about a two block walk from there. 

Public Transportation

The closest bus stops are at Halsted & Wrightwood (the number 8 bus) and Clark & Deming (22 & 36 buses) and the closest CTA station is at Fullerton & Sheffield (Brown, Purple, and Red lines). 

Bicycling

Many of our guests choose to bike to us for their visit. There is a bicycle rack located directly across the street for your convenience and we welcome guests to store their bike helmet in our complimentary lockers. 

There are Divvy bike stations at Clark & Wrightwood and at Halsted & Wrightwood.

Health & Safety

The health and safety of our guests and staff is our priority. In an effort to reduce the risk of spread of COVID-19, we have adopted several safety measures. We count on your cooperation to keep the gallery safe and open.

Accessibility

Wrightwood 659 is an ADA-compliant space and is open to individuals with disabilities. We also welcome service animals. If you have any questions about your visit, please contact us at info@wrightwood659.org in advance of your visit, and we will do our best to make your experience as comfortable as possible. 

We have one transport wheelchair available for use during your visit. 

Coat Check

We offer a complimentary coat check and ask that you check items, such as strollers, backpacks, large bags and purses, and camera bags. Other items we don’t allow in the galleries include ink pens and art supplies (with the exception of pencils and paper), tripods, flash or lighting camera attachments, video equipment of any kind, selfie sticks, and any or non-ADA mobility device. 

Photography

We encourage you to take photos at Wrightwood 659 and tag us in your social media posts with #wrightwood659. Flash photography or professional photo equipment are not permitted. We ask that you silence your phones and refrain from taking calls in the galleries. 

Lost & Found

We have a lost and found at our coat check, so if you find that you are missing anything before you leave, please stop by and one of our team members will be happy to help. 

If you have already left and realize you are missing something, please call us at 773.437.6601 or email us at info@wrightwood659.org and we will check our lost and found. 

Policies

For the security, safety, and comfort of our guests and staff, we don’t allow the following items in our space: 

  • Food and beverages 
  • Smoking or vaping paraphernalia or any incendiary materials 
  • Sharp items (including scissors or pocket knives) 
  • Pets or animals, except service animals 
  • Drones or similar remote-controlled devices, binoculars, or other telephoto equipment 
  • Ink pens and art supplies (with the exception of pencils and paper)
  • Tripods, flash or lighting camera attachments, video equipment of any kind, selfie sticks
  • Bags larger than 8.5″ x 11″

All bags are subject to inspection upon arriving and leaving the gallery. Wrightwood 659 is not responsible for lost, damaged, or unclaimed items.
