Join Curator Jess Wilcox at Wrightwood 659 for a special tour of the most comprehensive U.S. survey of Scott Burton. Moving between the third and fourth floor galleries, Wilcox outlines Burton’s “sculpture in love with furniture,” from relational chair groupings, to early street performance, to his public art built for use. Jess unpacks the careful proxemics of Burton’s work and traces the line drawn between sculpture and design.
