COVID-19

Dear Friends,

We regret to inform you that pursuant to the most recent Tier 3 Resurgence Mitigations issued by the State of Illinois, Wrightwood 659 is temporarily closed.  Happily, virtual programming complementing our critically-acclaimed exhibition Balkrishna Doshi: Architecture for the People continues online.

We will announce our reopening here and via email. Subscribe below to be among the first to know.

Patrons who have purchased tickets to the Balkrishna Doshi: Architecture for the People exhibition can expect a full refund, which will be issued automatically. It may take up to five business days for you to see the credit.  As we are short-staffed and unable to field a large number of phone calls, we ask that, if you can manage it, you wait the allotted time for your automatic refund to post.  Any catalogs purchased with a ticket will be shipped to the address on file. Please email us at info@wrightwood659.org if we need to ship to an alternative address.

During this period, a robust series of online programming will continue, including the Architecture of Community film series; Jugalbandi: The Interplay of B.V. Doshi and M.F. Husain; Livable Cities: A Dialogue between Balkrishna Doshi and Moshe Safdie; and Mastery and Mentorship: A Conversation Between Balkrishna Doshi and Khushnu Hoof. Additionally, we will actively seek out other ways to share the arts with you online—through email, our website, video, and our social media feeds.

Thank you for your ongoing support of Wrightwood 659. We look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Warm regards,

Wrightwood 659
